Looking up towards the drive and woods

This is my favourite part of your garden - it looks ever so tranquil.

well Scottish, strange you should say that, up this path and to the right hand side is what I call the Peace Garden. lol. glad you like it :O)

A wonderful back drop, no houses, just trees perfect.

I know I am really spoiled, peace perfect peace - all I hear most days is a little bit of noise from the road and the blackbird singing his heart out. lol. Perfect just perfect, would not suit everyone though, but for me it is idyllic. :O)

Thats Gorgeous, I love this time of year when the garden wakes up and the leave's appear, even the grass looks greener. Your garden is so mature Olive-O it looks great any time of year..

Thank you Youngdd. It does look rather full this year, it has been a work in progress for a number of years now. It was just a grass field sort of when I started gardening it. When I look back I just do not know how I managed to do it all. I just took up the turf bit by bit and worked the borders over and hey presto. I am so pleased I did it and have this garden to look at and sit in. I feel very content with it all now. :O)

I feel the same, i now have plants with all year round colour if only green sometimes :) i finally feel content also Olive-O Lovely isnt it..

Yes Youngdd it is a fantastic feeling I really am so lucky to live here with the trees and a beautiful garden. I shall sit out there in the morning and have a coffee and relax, weather permitting that is. We did get quite a lot of rain today but I was doing cricket teas 10 miles away and we didn't get the rain at the match so we were very lucky indeed. When we got back tonight the roads were stood in water around our place. Amazing in such a short distance how it can be so different. Hoping for sunshine tomorrow. :O) Have a great weekend :O)
