Olearia phlogopappa 'Comber's Pink'

Olearia phlogopappa 'Comber's Pink' (Olearia phlogopappa)

What a wonderful name! I'm trying this plant again but in a warm and sheltered position this time.

Spritz - I tried 'Comber's Blue' a couple of times, but never got it through a winter. Good luck with the pink one.

Lovely, good luck.

I lost the last one I had, so this one is planted right next to 'The Great Wall' for warmth and shelter.

Good thinking there....

Things do seem to thrive there. I have a tender plant (can't recall its Latin name, but it's a night-scented stock and it starts with a 'Z'). It's still there from last year!!!

That's the one. :-)

Lovely flowers. If it's south facing with a wall behind, then it's warmer for the plants. We had grape vines growing at our last home's garden on a south facing area with a stone wall at the back.

Yes, I was delighted with my new 'micro-climate' when the Great Wall was built. :D)
