'Shin Deshojo' Japanese Maple

The new foliage on this shrub retains its bright scarlet color during spring. In summer the color changes to red-green. In the fall, the colors become blends of reds and oranges. The leaf is tiny. I bought it for the spring colour and put couple of dwarf yellow berberries on each side.

Japanese Acers can be spectacular in any season...so much colour. I have few but not as many as I'd like to.
