This is my Epiphyllum flower which bloomed today. Photo taken May 9, 2014.

It's actually a cactus. There's several species which grow outside here in San Diego. E. oxypetalum is one of my favorites because it grow very large and blooms many times throughout the year. I posted several pics of my plant which has buds at the moment.

Yes, it's extremely bright. It's very difficult to photograph because of the brightness of the center. I'm not sure which variety it is, either. I've had it for many, many years. I have a pink variety which hasn't bloomed.

Yes, this one is my favorite. I had to put most of my Epiphyllum in shade as they're all burning. This plant is putting out more buds, though.
