Red Epiphyllum Flower

Breathtaking - I've never seen anything like it! Is this a succulent?

It's actually a cactus. There's several species which grow outside here in San Diego. E. oxypetalum is one of my favorites because it grow very large and blooms many times throughout the year. I posted several pics of my plant which has buds at the moment.

I nearly had to put my shades on to view this, wonderful colour.

It's very exotic looking and the center almost looks like a hologram. Congratulations!

Yes, it's extremely bright. It's very difficult to photograph because of the brightness of the center. I'm not sure which variety it is, either. I've had it for many, many years. I have a pink variety which hasn't bloomed.

That's the stuff of dreams here I'm afraid! Absolutely gorgeous!!

Yes, this one is my favorite. I had to put most of my Epiphyllum in shade as they're all burning. This plant is putting out more buds, though.
