lol never thought of checking for scent! but as I didn't notice any while i was close to it getting the pic, it can't have a very strong one.
I don't normally like pink, Scottish, but make an exception for flowers, especially roses

and it's such a small sbrub - shrubette? - and there's a dozen more buds on the two main stems. lol I must be doing something right, or at least, not too badly wrong

Most roses these days seem to lack strong perfume unless you are able to sense some older varieties Fran. There are some in the rose arbour at Hyde Hall, so I know my nose still has some sense of smell left.

I once asked a florist once about that - she said the they breed scent out of roses, since that takes most of the flower's energy so the blooms don't last as long - and they want long-lasting blooms these days, sigh.
