Hi Rose it is a Montana, the path is from the main gate of the property down to the house, bit too shady for most planting but I like it because it is cool down the side of the field edge. We have not trimmed the hedge back apart from just twigging it out a little, now it is massive and gives all the birds somewhere to shelter and nest in. It leads to the front of the house as well as to the back door. So main entrance in for us. Strangely though everyone uses the other pathway, think because they do not like the height of the arches, tall visitors especially. lol I love it because it is cooler than the rest of the garden up there, not a sun seeker. :O)

Oh Barbara, I would just have to go in this way ! The arches wouldn't bother me ! You must have a huge selection of birds !

We do Rose, lots nesting in and around the garden. In fact one silly blackbird is sitting on eggs in one of my plastic garden bags, it is hung up and somehow she has built a nest and now sitting on eggs, silly bird. Lots feeding young, had robins fledge and blackbirds and a bluetit is in one of the bird boxes and two other boxes with Great tits in them. Just love watching their antics. :O)
