Variegated Philadelphus

This version of philadelphus seems to be fairly rare. I've never seen one in a garden centre and this is the only one I've seen in my customers' gardens .It has a lovely scent and flowers for 3 weeks or so in late spring

That is very pretty. Maybe i'm wrong but I get the impression that variegated shrubs do not bloom as well a plain ones. This shows up very well.

I love them - surely this one is very early. I have three different varieties but nowhere near flowering yet. Perhaps earlier because its variegated?
