Moved here just over 30 years ago. I decided quite soon to turn approx. 200ft x 100ft plot into a wildlife garden stocked with perennials, shrubs & trees. A watergarden was installed 20 years ago. I get immense pleasure from the dragonflies, damselflies & large variety of birds that now visit including a heron and 2 yrs ago a kingfisher both have emptied the ponds of fish. I have re-stocked with just a few more but the fish keep well away from the surface so I think they know that dangers lurk! Keep mainly now for the wildlife.
