Poppies and erysimum "Bowles Mauve"

Poppies and erysimum "Bowles Mauve"

The erysimum is the longest flowering plant I know. I've had one in my garden in flower every day for 2 years!. It propagates very easily from 10 cm cuttings from May to August. It's evergreen and grows to about 2 feet in diameter

Ah thanks for that info and the picture Anchorman, as I have just bought some Bowles mauve to compete at the front of my border with a backing of Day lillies. Another customer at the GC told me it was a long blooming plant and was not sure about propagation. I like the grey leaves too.

A lovely colour combination; purple and orange; complimentary colours often used by Monet and Cezanne.

Back on my radar again and still just as beautiful. But mine are a bit leggy, although facing the sun most of the day.
