Hi Tracey thankyou the Wisteria is approx. 9 years old the weaker one of the two was moved to accommodate a wider path and bigger pergola she thought she had killed it but it recovered as you see! I'm writing this on my daughter's computer as mine has crashed boo hoo!

Do you know how old this might be Neena? I've got a Wisteria that is 20 plus years old, it's moved house at least four times... It lives in a huge pot - Last year I decided to move it to the bottom of the garden. A neighbour has a wonderful display on the front of her house, so I thought I could create similar against my fence... To my shock and horror I thought I'd lost it this year...! Thankfully, after some tidying up, cutting back and moving the pot back to it's original home - I can now say there are some buds. I'm going to have to be very kind to it this year, and maybe next year it will have recovered enough to flower again...
