Many seedlings popping up from an overripe papaya smashed in this pot from my papaya tree. Photo taken May 25, 2014 during our Memorial Day Holiday Weekend.

When it's really hot they will pop up in a matter of days. Although, I've had planted seeds pop up a year later.
I have many Carica 'Thai Dwarf' plants popping up, also.
Papayas plants are very difficult to transplant. This is why I plant hundreds of seeds.
