Weigela Strawberries n Cream

Thank you it's very pretty I love the two colours the name is perfect , I tried to get some cuttings going last year Dawn I wasn't very successful only one survived :o( I'll try again this year !

maybe you were just unlucky Amy, I've found Weigela easy to take but maybe this one is a bit special.

I wonder if I didn't take the cuttings at the right time Dawn I think you told me your Dad use to take them July /August is that right . I went out to look at the little one that had taken it's only about 6" high and was surprise to see it had a little head of pink & cream flowers almost as big as the plant :o)

That's good news that your cutting is flowering Amy, it must be happy. Yes, my Dad always said to take cuttings the third week in July :-) Bless, him, it works for me but I do usually take around 6 cuttings of each plant to ensure I get at least one going. :-)
