Chives..

The Bees love it too ,I like them snipped in mashed potatoes ...

I love chives but mine get totally flattened in bad weather!

Snap Sandra the ones you gave me are also looking great, will be splitting them once they have stopped flowering;0)

The Bees go wild for them,don't they Amy? Russ isn't keen on the taste..but I love some on a salad..even the flowers are quite nice too,and look pretty :o)

That's a shame,T.bear..maybe your garden isn't as sheltered as mine,so I don't have that problem..

They are such good 'doers' aren't they Carole? I think it's one of my favourite plants..My sister in law has asked me for some,when I split it ..least I can do in return for the lovely flowers she brought me this week :o)

Thanks Annie..a happy accident,as the Uncina Rubra seeded itself among the variegated one..in fact it seems to be taking over,but I don't mind..I have plenty of the other one :o)

Gather some seeds when the flowers go over pop them in a pot - sorted :o)

Didn't think of that Neellan..but thanks..I have 4 clumps of it already,so will probably need to split one again this year..:o) ..one less pot to fill next year .Lol.x

Thanks ,Angela,they never fail to please..Just been cutting the spent flowers off this week..I usually get another smaller flush,so here's hoping..
