Sandra, I mis-read your first comment. I read it as "get the deckchair out more often" and not "get out of the deckchair more often" ... obviously to get more exercise. I'll put it down to one of those "Senior Moments" .... lol.

Thanks Jane, snails on the wall were bought from a nursery closing down sale (£5 each). We take them indoors in winter to avoid frost damage. We've had them about 5 years now.
