Fireplace in action

Inside the main body of the fireplace is a curved sheet of stainless steel the height of the unit. The mirrored surface helps push out the heat more effectively and the angle of radiation protects the plants to either side. Behind the stainless steel the box cavity is packed with mineral wool insulation to stop the side units becoming mini ovens! It works well and the sides of the box don't even become warm.

The pic was taken last autumn as I recall.

Thanks! I was just being cheeky really, as the weather is just like that at the moment, cold and wet. Makes one want to turn the fire on.
