lol so very true, Scottish! there might have been room for this size pool, if I completely cleared one end of the old "garden", but with only one hour's sun a day (if I were lucky) and not-nice neigbours less than ten feet away and others chucking rubbishout of an upstairs window ...

Nothing like a restful outlook in your own pleasant garden to chill out and relax. Out of the noise and fumes and hustle of the city.

LOL this made me laugh Fran , you really know how to live it up ! I'd like you as a next door neighbor we could take it in turns to rescue each other at the deep end :o))

I really fell on my feet with this place, and I kep reminding myself how lucky I was, and am - sometimes I get a bit "fogged in" and forget

lol Amy, I also bought another pool, bigger - the pic on the box shows Mum and Dad sitting at one end while the kids splash at the other end, but I thought I'd start with the small one. If the neighbours want to join in, they'll have to help inflate the bigger one!
