lol Karen, I was very tempted to knock out a few zs! but i had to jump in the pool for that pic. I think I'll give it a seriouis test the next sunny morning. I hadn't realised how much the garden sloped before this.

I tried it the right way round, and it was comfortable! had a spare pillow under my head, all I need now is a table to put my drink on - preferrably with a very long straw so I don't have the "effort" of lifting the glass!

lol Amy, this was definitely dressing for the weathr, or overdressing, actually,more like dressing for visitors!

If your weather is the same as ours today Fran you should really get some use out of your pool and hammock. I relaxed for an hour or so on my green lounger in the circle in the shade, and watched the swifts dashing about above. One of the delights of a garden is when you can relax in comfort with a beer shandy, look up at a blue sky or admire your handiwork.

well, mine's more "work in progress"; I've done a bit of chipping away at it here and there. Didn't go out today, had a visitor and by the time they went the pool was in the shade and there were dark clouds coming in. hoping to get an early night so I can be out there to watch the sun clear the trees (though maybe not in the pool!)

Hope you've had some more sunshine to enjoy your pool and recliner, Fran. Warmish today but not so good as last week, Like you I have water in my water butts again :)

sigh, since the hammock was set up have had more cloudy days than sunny ones! maybe if i put it away, the sun will come back ...
