Buddleia - don't know its name!

Looks a lot like the one I have. It's called Black Knight. Much deeper than the usual lilac coloured one.

We chopped it right down to ground level early in the Spring and its 5 feet tall already.

They are prolific growers aren't they?

Yes, last year it drew to about 12 feet which is too big for our garden but the butterflies love it.
