Rose .. Zepherine Drouhin ...

I've just bought this one, Amy. I hope mine ends up looking as good as yours.

I keep looking at this, Amy. I like the idea of thornless as I am forever ending up with scratches down my arms from roses, berberis and pyrecantha. Something gentle appeals to me.

This need a good prune this year Waddy , I know what you mean Gee there's always something ready to grab you and it seems to take longer for the scratches to heal these days !

Love it but had too many problems, sadly it had to go....

What kind of problems Angela , do I need a warning ? ....

Amy it got all the usual rose diseases in bucket loads..just got fed up with spraying it constantly.

Shame about that HB , Angela I have to agree with you the rose has been very susceptible to disease this year more than most I'm going to prune it right down to the ground in the autumn to see if its any better next year ...
