Does it have odour?

Katarina . . . just so that you know: we use 'odour' when it is not a very nice smell, so 'scent' is a better word for a pleasant smell :) (but obviously we do understand what you mean!)

Angela - I've always fancied one - is this grown better from seed or from cuttings?

Thank you, Sheilabub, for your explanation. That is exactly what I was thinking of. I was thinking of a bad smell. Similar sorts of wild flowers growing along rivers have putrescible smell.

I love these. Haven't grown one for years. I'll have to get one next year :)
You used to see the seeds but I haven't been able to find them for a long time.

Oh, I see Katarina - never mind. In fact, under her photo, Dotty has written "fantastic perfume", (easily missed)!

Sheila my Oh takes cuttings, we have been looking for some different colours very hard to find though, only one nursery who has the national collection, but poor web site no actual pictures!! well worth growing, yours could go in the GH over the winter...Hywel you must have another go.........if we get any seeds could let you have some........but do not depend on me, I am useless when it comes to that sort of thing, I make a note, and then lose the note!!
