This is a champion of my garden this year. Really a pretty contrast among grasses. This variety was formerly used to make a hot beverage until the introduction of coffee by traders. Women also use a infusion of whole plant of this variety, if they desire female babies.

Hi, Amy. This is info from Google. I think, used is everything from the plant, with the exception of roots (e.g. leaves and flowers).
