Last night's moon rising through the trees.

It was nice here on the Island too. I was looking at it through the trees as you Holly.

Great shot Holly on the 10th day before this was taken was the super moon.

Thanks everyone... it was just as lovely last night and slowly rose at bottom of garden so I was able to watch it from indoors....

Yes, the newspaper said it was a super moon too . . . it was certainly super!

All it means Super moon on the 10th its the closest to the earth which will appear to look 14 percent bigger. Another one will occur on the 9th September 2014.

Will be nice to see that one too thrupenny... was looking for the persaids last night... hope I spelt it right, but the moon was to bright in the sky to see any shooting stars.... :)

That was a shame, Holly. I made do with animated persaids on the Google doodle!
