Thanks Alan, I like it too. By the time the fern dies back, the Cyclamen foliage take over and fill a gap. It's not often my plans work out so well :)

Beautiful.....

These tiny cyclamen are so rewarding Scottish. They love the shade and are easy to transplant when tiny. The leaves are so dense and decorative. I can't understand why the corms are so expensive.

Thanks DD2
Dorjac, yes, they are quite expensive. I picked these up in B&Q 2 years ago for 50p a pot as they had been neglected, bargain or what!

That is a great bargain ...... even for a canny Scot!
Now I have to be careful with the next comment, but it is said with genuine interest. I watched a two hour "Town Hall" type debate the other night. This was in preparation for your "Independence Vote" . I found it fascinating to hear both sides point of view. I also learnt so much about Scotland. However, politicians never answered some of the questions, they very cleverly have an agenda, then take you off on their own path. By the time they have finished talking, you sometimes forget what the original question was!

I'm the absolute opposite of a Canny Scot Alan.
To be honest Alan, I'm sick fed up listening to it all!
If the man who wants to be king has his way, I'll be quids in and not have to be so canny ;) NOT!

Don't take me seriously Alan, it was good to get it off my chest :)

Lovely cyclamen Scottish. Ours are just getting their leaves and will soon be flowering.
We watched the debates and I'll be honest and say I think Scotland will be worse off if they leave the rest of us. I shall be sad about it if they do leave.

With all the other ghastly stuff going on in the world, it is sad that the wish to become apart is being paraded now. I have not watched any of these debates. I prefere gardening. We might want to leave EU but our Eric wants to cuddle up to the eurocrats in Brussels. We live in very strange times indeed. Glad someone on GoY has aired the matter, as one said to be 'living in a bubble', GoY tends to be a very pleasant bubble too.

Thanks Linda. I've only watched one of the debates but as my mind has always been made up, no need to really - I was just a tad curious. I may well be proud to be Scottish but am just as proud to be British.
Dorjac - the awful stuff going on in the world at this moment is to me beyond words. You've hit the nail on the head for me - why does Mr Salmond and Co want us to leave one union yet join another???? Nuff said!!!

I'll just say this then be quiet Scottish. We've had some wonderful holidays in Scotland and always been made very welcome. Scotland is the most beautiful place with it's scenery and wildlife, and I can understand why the Scottish people feel proud of the heritage that they have, and so they should. This whole (UK) country needs to stick together especially with the world as it is, so full of unrest. Also we all have to face the burden of the problem with the DEBT situation the whole of the UK is in at the moment, but the government are trying to sort the problem out and it's going to take some time. Anyway thanks for letting me air my views Scottish.
