I tend to go towards yellow because we do have a lot of yellow shrubs in the garden.

Well, then - no contest! I don't really 'do' yellow in the main garden, just in the back one. Having said that, the 'hot' border has Inula and Lysimachia 'Firecracker', so that part has yellow. ;-)
