Junna, I found that it is called
Garlic Vine (Mansoa alliacea)
in Spanish : Ajo Sacha (false garlic)
This plant is also known by other synonymous Botanical names such as:
Pachyptera alliacea
Adenocalymma alliaceum
Adenocalymma nitidum
Adenocalymma pachypus
Adenocalymma sagotii
Cydista aequinoctialis
Pachyptera alliacea
Pachyptera hymenaea

Pseudocalymma sagotti
All these names for the same plant:-)
Although, most of the time it was referenced to as Mansoa alliacea xx

Kumusta! My wife is from Laguna. She's visiting her relatives right now.
I have planted some things she likes here in the San Francisco bay area. Java banana's, Mango's,..a 6' Santol that stays indoors. Most are not of the size they reach in the Philippines..just nice to grow them outdoors.
Well,back to your photos..lol..

Hello Po, Stan, Mabuti po naman , glad to know your wife is also from here, in Laguna:-)
Good to know that our super fruits here was brought there , but even though its not fully grows up, still you manage to make them grow, that's very good Stan, maybe the climate is one of the reason??

many thanks to all :-)))

I came back !..for a second look. That plant it looks like is now called Cydista. Hardy to zone 9a and down to 20f. That's about -8C. Cold.
Junna..I got 3 fruits of my mango this year. Its 2 years in ground and about 2 meters tall. Skinny, but healthy. I hope for more as the years go by. But,no,it will never come close to the size they get in the tropics. Im in what is rated as "mild temperate climate"..rain in winter, dry, about 25c all summer.

you are right Stan, its also called Cydista, according to Klahanie researched..
That is very good Stan, you 've got fruits to harvest :-))
I told you climate could be the reason why it grows, skinny and short... but still happy to know they still grow over there :-))

Lovely colour. I can see why it is your favorite Junna ...especially when it blooms 3 times per year.
Had to google it as I was not familiar with this plant.
It said that it is a medicinal plant in your country.
