140925 - finally cut the whole thing back and repotted it at last - it'll either take or it won't.

Fran - I think I may be the bearer of bad news. Generally conifers won't regrow from brown wood.

I wasn't too hopeful, but i thought that half a chance was better than none at all. At least it's better than binning it immediately.
