Clematis 'Doctor Ruppel'

Really , I wouldn't have thought of cutting one back in July ,I have this one perhaps I would have had another flower if I had cut it back , do you normally cut it at that time Annella ?

It was a major shrub cut back Amy, the Clems were growing through them so it couldn't be avoided :o)

Oh I see Annella ,I was worried I wasn't doing mine at the right time ,it proves it doesn't do any harm whenever you cut back ...

I have this one somewhere lol........well done on getting more flowers.

I have this Ann, and didn't realise that you cut them back in the summer after flowering.
