DD - do you remember Bluespruce who used to be on this site (he had the garden full of conifers). He let me have a dwarf ginkgo that will never get more than three feet tall.

I do remember Bluespruce, he had a beautiful garden, that is interesting, I have never heard or seen one that only grows to three feet, do you still have it Andrew?

Yes I do, it's growing quite happily near the entrance to my foliage garden. I believe it was a variety called 'Everton', but I don't know if it was ever sold commercially.

I love Ginkos, but I hope mine doesn't get as big as that. I've got it in a pot.
Their leaves have a great colour in the autumn :)
