Moss growing well

Sandra, Looks great! Did this grow of it's own accord or did you encourage the moss growth with anything?

(following Alanb's train of thought) ...like a moss milkshake perhaps?
Mosses are so under-appreciated. A thick mat or a lacy fringe ... it softens lines and draws the eye. I have it growing in a number of places and it is so beautiful in rain, in sunlight, and especially frosted. Love your garden statuary...

Thanks...I did paint it with yogurt but the dogs licked it off..but that was years ago..the moss gets better each year.

Sandra, that's where I went wrong, I used '12 month old .... out of date yogurt", on an old planter, but forgot to add the dog saliva ... lol.

Lori I love all the different mosses that grow here...we made this a few years back and it's now in the shade so the moss is loving it.
Alan it took a few years to get this much moss on it.
