My absolute favourites...this year we are going to build them their own winter home so that we can grow bigger ones.

That's good.

They are amazing aren't they, we had them growing in the garden in Spain, I used to break a piece off and stick it in the dry stony soil and off it would go, and in the winter months fabulous cones of lemon yellow flowers.
I have one now which Amy sent me, doing fine in the summer, it's just the winter months here.....so far it's ok in a pot by the shed window.......fingers crossed!

Wow! That's a lot of Aeoniums! Do you sell them?

28 Jan, 2015

yes i do Delonix. They are not available every where over here. My nursery is succulent based and really enjoy the milder coastal weather. Although it dosen't feel very mild today!!

Okay, you have a succulent nursery. I should have guessed.

I hope your mild weather returns soon! It was another 80ºF (27ºC) day here where I live.

Not only succulents but they are taking over....we also sell coastal hardy shrubs..ones that can cope with the strong salt laden wind and a few herbs.

You have a plant nursery. It appears you have a lots of land for a nice nursery.

around an acre and a half Delonix...just enough but not too much..:-)

Wow! That's big, compared to our small urban lots here in San Diego. Only the outer areas of San Diego County have lots that big or larger.

4 Feb, 2015

my neighbours think its small as i am surrounded by big farms..

That's great to have a lot of land to work in...and have nice privacy. That's not so common here in urban San Diego.
