Thanks girls, it's not too clear as I took it from the kitchen window. He spends most of his day in the garden, but as soon as I pick up the camera off he goes! This time I was quicker than him.....:))

They all seem to be friendly but camera shy.

Lovely picture of the Robin Janey. We have a Robin round here and he sings beautifully first thing in the morning and last thing at dusk.

Did he return today for inclusion on the big birdwatch??

HI paul we did the birdwatch yesterday and placed our robin on the list with quite a few other birds.

What a lovely plump little Robin, Janey. Must admit I forgot the bird count this year although I did watch my little robin hopping about yesterday!

I didn't have chance Linda...to do it.I sat by the window for 10 minutes yesterday morning and nothing came in the garden so decided to do it later, butthen was so busy, out and about, didn't get home till it was getting dusk . Shame, as this is my first year in my new house but, so much to do....I'll make a point of doing it next year.
It got a big boring at the other house as I got pretty much the same results each year although, I know the idea is to give rspb an opportunity to see what's happening/changing but it was a bit tedious.
We have been having two robins visiting this new garden regularly since putting the feeding station out a few weeks ago...and Tits, Blackbirds, Sparrow. And a Jay regularly perches in the Oak behind our garden!!

Andrew, the Robin we used to have around the garden liked us very much....he would even seem to pose for his pics, whereas this little one is fine until he spies that
little black camera.....

Thank you Johnjoe and Amy, yes he is now, but there is also another which is a surprise, whether it's his mate, roll on spring so I'll find out....:))

Aw do you know what Paul, I forgot all about it and this year there's been a good selection of birds in the garden,
A flock of long-tailed tits come regularly now and a fat wood pigeon that waddles up and down....would be great to see a Jay regularly though. Hope you're enjoying your new place Paul.
