Sp Crocus

I remember this from last spring Brian! I had such a lovely moment on Friday when I was out shopping. On my way home I saw two beautiful drifts of Crocus smiling in the sunshine! One blue and one gold. It was that wonderful feeling of assurance that spring is around the corner at last! And what's more, I can just see yellow developing on my first daff! :))

What a beautiful clump of Crocuses, Brian! Obviously there is no room on the balcony to grow clumps of them so I make up for it by planting lots every year! Some of mine have now opened & 1 pot in particular is looking very good with lots of flowers now open.

I have lots of Daffs in the long white troughs on the balcony floor where there are lots of them will be opening in the coming week or two! I've seen lots around town already open, in fact at the very beginning of this month my wife & I spied a big yellow Daff wide open which surprised me no end! I think it was also the very first Daff I've seen open this month. Since then though I've seen 100s open with 1,000s more to come!

I've seen a great many Snowdrops & Crocuses all open in the last couple of weeks. A couple that had opened on my balcony some weeks ago are now fading away but I expect more in the next few weeks.
