These Hyacinths are a vibrant blue, and there was a bumble bee on one just before I snapped - you'll just have to believe me!

Thanks Gralew. A year ago a friend gave them to me in a bowl (for indoors), and I'd forgotten that we'd planted them in the garden. Just wish I could get down there more easily to smell them!

I am surprised Sheila that you have bees so early (I believe you) Lovely blue colour.

Thanks Klahanie . . . I know: it is still very cold, so I hope the bee(s) survive!

My blue hyacinths have just finished indoors so I've planted them into the garden. I did the same last year and they are just showing their flowerheads. Lovely sparkle of colour. A bee already? We have just placed our Mason bee boxes back on the fence again as they will soon be hatching out with the warmer weather. They have been hung under the car port for the winter.

Yes Lin, some bees think it's Spring . . . I had a bumble bee with me in the greenhouse yesterday. Best place for both of us as it was 'toasty'!
