We use to love going out to pick bunches of Primroses when we were little a whole bunch smells amazing ... We have pink ones here as well Siris ...

Lovely clump of primroses DD. I recently prised one out of the lawn near the border and popped it in the border near its parent. Before our gardener friend beheaded it with the first cut of the year a week ago. They are so pretty, self seed so well and light up the soil around. I like freebies.

I wish I could grow primroses! It's just too hot and dry here in winter for them to grow. :>(

Primroses do grow pretty well closer to the coast...and that's in the middle of winter.

My vulgaris primroses interbreed with my P "Wanda" and end up muddy pink. Can't keep the little blighters apart!
