In our street there are several Cherry trees blooming, one in particular is a real show stopper with its branches almost breaking under the strain of the weight of flowers it's carrying!

Balcony have never seen such lovely blossom, hoping the roses and the clems will follow suit...

I think, barring any Arctic blasts, this year is going to be a bumper year for lots of our plants! :-)) With the beautiful April weather we have had this month lots of flowers are well under way. We haven't seen hardly a shower this month, famed for its showers, so what will May & June bring us??? If "Flaming June" lives up to its name this year we could be in for a scorcher!

If today is anything to go by then I will have to disagree with you! I went out onto our balcony to water my pots & was met by a very cold wind! I can't have been out there for more than 10 minutes but when I entered my toes were losing circulation & the same was happening to the fingers on my hands! Brrrrrr!

It is very cold here at the moment it is the wind, when the sun is out it is a different matter.....hot, hot, hot!!

Bank holiday Monday turned out to be quite pleasant in the end without too much cold wind. In the sunshine it got to be quite warm! We got very warm when we went to a town 5 miles away & spent just a couple of hours there. On bank holiday Mondays they always have a big street market & we went along with our son, his wife & 2 year old daughter.
We bought some plants from a street stall - I'll probably write a brief blog in a day or two about them as they are for our balcony. I'll probably add "before" & "after" photos - the "before" ones I already have but I need to plant them out before I can show "after" photos! LOL!
The last two days have been VERY, VERY windy here, I expect they were where you are as well as it seems to have affected the majority of the UK. We have had a few isolated showers but nothing to get excited about. LOL! Thursday & Friday are forecast to be quiet, sunny days with practically no wind to speak of but lots of sunshine. The temps around here will probably not get past 15C but even that will be very nice without the wind!
