What sort of 'glazing' is that mum? Is it to give shade? I don't know how I shall do shade. I hope the sweet peas will provide some on the south side, but I may have to buy shading. I hate that paint-on stuff.

its polycarbonate glazing Karen, would never have had glass again, especially where Lottie is going to be running around. When I had the big greenhouse I lived in fear of someone falling on the path and into the glass so opted for polycarbonate. It will help a little with the heat as it is not totally clear but think if you do get too hot in yours hang an old sheet inside so that you can take it in and out as you need it. We had a tiny drop of rain this morning but its beautifully sunny now. Windy but nice and bright.

It looks great Barbara and wish I had room for one ! We even considered putting one of these on our new allotment ( re blog ) but its very open there and gets all the wind, so would be worrying if it was still standing after strong gales !
Are you well ? I am just trying top catch up with everyone !

Sunny here too now. Very chilly strong wind...AGAIN. Good laundry drying weather if you can keep the clothes on the line and out of the field!

You're right J. It adds a whole new dimension to a garden. I would really miss mine. I go in there every day, and at this time of year, when the plants are just awning and stretching, it gives me plenty to do. :)

This looks really good. I could not grow some of the plants I do if I couldn't over winter them in the greenhouse. Then there are the tomatoes in the summer.

Thank you everyone, will keep you posted on all that goes on in the greenhouse. :O)

This looks about the same size as our greenhouse. Lovely for tomatoes, peppers and keeping plants and cuttings in the winter. Gerry puts up bubblewrap inside ours in the winter and we keep the temperature a little above freezing with a small heater. Netting over the top will help with the sunshine. We have a small louve window the opposite end to the door and in the heat it lets the air flow through. We have staging one side and a metal rod type frame for the tomatoes when they grow. Enjoy your new space....Forogt to mention we have an old plastic waste bin underneath our downpipe to catch the water and it's a big help just to get the water from there instead of carrying it down the garden in a can.

thanks Lindak, it will eventually be very useful when I get back on my feet, I have had a temperature for nearly a week and trying to get to see a doctor is nigh impossible but have got an appointment tomorrow first thing with practice nurse so should see results after that. Hopefully back to normal soon. thanks for looking in. :O)

Yes, a great idea in theory. I have two compact ones on mine, but I always have to fill them with the hose as we never get any rain! I was hoping for rain today, but it moved south overnight and after watering the food corner and greenhouse they are both empty again!
