Balcony (Outside) seen from right 18-04-2015

It depends on how long you consider "long" - if I have to water every single plant pot then it may take me around an hour but it also takes longer because I have to transport 2lt bottles of water through the flat - 4 at a time - & it takes 15 or so bottles to do them all. Then I have to fill them up again & put them back in the cupboard ready for tomorrow - although some very hot days in the summer some of the pots need watering twice a day & the hanging baskets up to 3 times! Though with water retaining crystals this can be reduced to twice a day during very hot weather.

We get sun on the balcony for more than half the day from spring through to autumn as we face more or less Southwest.
