There are still buds to come Bloomer so all is not lost! agree it is a lovely Magnolia with the bonus of a delicate perfume too :o)

That's good,Neellan..let's hope for some frost free nights..I noticed today,the new emerging leaves on my Camelia,are as black as night ! :o(

I thought my little magnolia had done well until I saw yours! I had half the blossoms you have. Very cold nights but no frosts thank goodness.

Thank you Gee, it is over twenty years old, it started life in a pot - a Mother's day present, I transplanted it in the garden a few years ago in the shade of a large conifer, that has now been felled and the Magnolia has never looked better! :o)
