Bluebells for Dawnsaunt!

Bluebells for Dawnsaunt! (Eleagnus Quicksilver)

They are a much more vivid blue than they seem . . . must be my camera (or maybe I needed strong sunlight?).

They seem to be happy flowering under the lovely Eleagnus 'quicksilver'.

What I love about your garden is the naturalistic style Sheila. It manages to be beautiful and very relaxed. Speaking from experience, I dont think thats an easy effect to manage.

You're very kind Karen, what a generous comment! Thank you. I get inspiration from Keith Wiley's book about naturalistic gardening ("On the Wild Side "?), and I've had MANY years of trial and error!

You would Karen. He's a very imaginative and talented gardener . . . used to be Head Gardener at The Garden House, an extraordinarily beautiful garden in Devon.

They do have it on Amazon, but only hardcopy second hand...quite expensive. perhaps I'll treat myself at Christmas. Thats when I read gardening books!
