It says they love moist soil,but this has been growing for a few years in quite a dry site.

I love it too. I particularly love Z 'Green Goddess' but it doesn't flower here until late summer.

In the last garden we always had this , but the last few years it never flowered and it was either in the bog garden or on the edge of the pond. But..it was nearly 20 years old! We have just bought a new one and will be just in the border , so hope this one flowers well ! Yours looks lovely !
