Cane begonias grow upright very quickly. This one is only 4' (1.2m) which iis one is not very tall (because it's in a small 1 gallon pot). They typically grow 6 to 8' (2 - 3m) or even much tall in the right conditions. I've seen them almost 30' (10m) tall in the Central Coast of California outside in the ground. It's not a tuberous Begonia.
I have some shrubby types which grow very tall and are much fuller. They can spread 5 or 6' (1.2 - 2m) or more wide. Of course, this is when it's grown in the ground.
Here's some photos of my Begonias.

How tall do your Cane Begonias grow? Or are they the trailing variety as they appear in the photo? Do they grow from tubers also?
I have planted some trailing Begonias in 4 of my 6 hanging baskets on our balcony. Two others are planted up with normal, (non-trialing), Begonias that I got by mistake when I bought the others.
