Species Gladiolus

siris

By Siris

Species Gladiolus (Gladiolus communis (Gladiolus) byzantinus)

Gladiolus byzantinus in the Iris border, with 'scented blue'. The Glad starts at the back, and gradually creeps forward, until I divide the Iris and move it to the back again.

That's good for the first year for a 'tall'. Hope you don't get any more strong winds.

It's a lovely Gladioli. A must have in any garden in my opinion.

It is pretty, and not too much of a nuisance unlike Glad papilio.

Crikey - I rather like G.papilio. I had no idea that it was invasive.
