UNIDENTIFIED GRASS

Perhaps the birds have droped seeds in your garden Carole. Sorry have nt got a clue.

it looks like corn of some description, leave it and see what develops if it is corn it will pull out easily. I get lots from the birds growing around the garden.

...or Barley perhaps.

It could be from the bird seed Carole we've had several 2/3 ft tall grass like foliage with Dandelion type flowers I've no idea what they are ...

I think you may be right Amy, its growing right next to the bird feeder! never thought of that;0)
