I was so tempted the other day a local nursery was selling roses for 5.99 brilliant healthy plants, had 4 in my trolley then thought Kath were you going to put them lol put 3 back but did keep 'Hot Chocolate' covered in buds and did find a space so its planted :-)

Aww Kathy, so tempting. Now I bought Hot Choc a couple of years ago after seeing Karen's. Another nice one.

Pat Austin is a real beauty, Hot Chocolate is romping away at the moment.....I love it.

My Hot Chocolate is looking so much better than last year. It must have got its roots down now. No flowers yet, but plenty buds.

I have both these roses too...after seeing Karens....

Hi guys, I want to buy a gift for a friend who is moving away to the country and I'd like to buy her a special rose for her new garden. What would you go for?

Chartreuse de Parme..fantastic scent, glamouous colour, repeat flowering and great healthy foliage.

Or Compassionate Friends...lovely short growing, scented and pale pink. A great name for a dear friend.

For me it would have to be 'Mary Rose' beautiful pink fabulous scent,covered in flowers :-)
