About time to Gill we haven't seen them out and about for ages , aren't they delightful its good to know they survive the winters with your excellent care :o)

Thanks, Holly and Amy, They have really enjoyed the recent hot spell, up and about before me in the morning and then taking a siesta in the hottest part of the day. What a life :)

At the first moment I thought you were on holiday in some tropic destination.

No topics here, Katarina, just sunny Kent! The tortoises ages are an estimate by the vet, the larger one (Josie) is probably over 80 and Jubilee is over 50. It's very difficult to tell their ages.

So Jubilee is my generation! Lol.

Indoors for the winter now in a nice new run. I'm lucky in that a couple of kind neighbours save their newspapers for me each week to aid in keeping them clean (almost a full time job!)

I can well imagine, I used to tortoise sit when my friend went on holiday! it was called Fred!

Like all of us, Josie and Jubilee are looking forward to warmer weather. We've had strong winds and sleety/snowy rain today.

Very strong winds here yesterday and last night it was even stronger, whistling round the roof but this morning seems quiet so far.....
