Pittosporum 'Tom Thumb' for Bloomer

Pittosporum 'Tom Thumb' for Bloomer (Pittosporum tenuifolium (New Zealand Pittosporum))

This has been moved today as it was being smothered by a large Lavender 'Hidcote'. First planted in 2010 so not much growth in 5 years!

The sword like leaves are from a Red Hot Poker ... not the Pittosporum!

Its a good plant though Shirley. Lovely shiny leaves. I won't risk Pittosporum here again..have lost too many.

Thanks Shirley, the size looks about right for a five year old :o)I'm sure it will do well for you there..x

Karen, have you tried this variety? mine has come through the coldest of winters, with not even a flinch..maybe in your position,it would be ok in the shelter of a wall,or other shrubs..?
