but I like my cacti best :D

I have one cactus sitting on the conservatory windowsill where it seems to be quite happy. I water it regularly in the summer but not the winter.

Years ago my son, aged then about 7, won a tiny cactus plant in a raffle. I kept it going for a very long time. It survived a move too. Finally I put it outside in a very sheltered spot and each summer it kept on flowering.

It died eventually because we had a few bad winters but I must have had it over 40 years.

Don't be sorry, Hywel. I was pretty fed up with it by the time it popped its clogs. It was covered in bits of dust, dead leaves and all other kinds of debris and trying to clean them off was a dangerous exercise.

Oh dear :( How can you become fed up with a cactus ... especially after having it all that time ?
And they are no more dangerous than roses or holly.
