Butterfly - Painted Lady

Isn't she getting her wings wet in Lincs, today?

this morning it was beautiful until about 3.30 then we had a shower, we had lots last evening though. \;o)

We, British are always complaining about the weather! My garden was desperate for rain, now it is coming down in bucketfuls!

same here Siris, dry ground but we got some good rain and it will have done good. It changed about 11am and has been sunny and hot all afternoon. :O)

We saw a Peacock Butterfly yesterday. Lovely to see some butterflies at last......Haven't seen many this year.

August and September are the best months for the butterflies, lots about when the sun shines especially when the buddleia is in full bloom. They love that!!
