I had it in a old beat up and chipped plastic pot. I finally got it into a pot it deserves. Those Bonsai pots of quality? They are heavy. I only have two like that. Feels like a pot carved out of rock.

It flowered in spring- not many. Then,that was it. It wont ever be a big flowerer looks like.

My large A. obesum only has one huge blooming period a year...then sporadic flowering. I noticed my A. arabicum flowers more often and longer. It just flowered and now I see more flower buds. The caudex has gotten very fat in just a few years. I think it may be flowering again because of the really hot weather we've had for several weeks. This week is already miserably hot!
